The recharger pistol is a more advanced and compact version of the recharger rifle. An experimental weapon capable of self-charging via an MF breeder that generates virtually infinite ammunition from an effectively limitless power supply. The recharger pistol MF Breeder is capped at 20 shots, but is capable of regenerating.
Fallout New Vega s has possibly the best selection of armor and weapons of any Fallout game that's been released so far.
However, where its arsenal of toys really shines is in the energy department. Laser and plasma weapons are in high supply in the Mojave wasteland, and players just can't stop themselves from using these powerful energy weapons. This list will show players some of the must-collect energy weapons in the game and help them decide on which ones they should use in battle.
From sonic emitters to gauss rifles, here are the most powerful energy weapons in Fallout New Vegas. Some of these weapons can be purchased, while others can be scavenged throughout the Mojave Wasteland. There are even more energy weapons that you should know about if you want to be the strongest Energy Gunslinger possible and obtain the best energy weapons in New Vegas.

The Compliance Regulator is a special laser pistol that paralyzes an enemy when they are hit with a critical hit. It also fires a blue beam instead of the standard red color. Although the Compliance Regulator only deals 8 base damage, it makes up for this fact with its special effect. Recharger weapons are very useful because they don't require ammo, and the Alpha happens to be one of the only unique recharger pistols in New Vegas. This weapon deals 25 base damage.
The Alpha's special ability is that it's fully automatic, which is a strong combination when combined with the limitless ammo of the recharger weapons. You can acquire the Alpha by purchasing it from Cliff in Novac. Euclid's C-Finder is very different from other energy weapons because instead of firing a normal projectile, it instead calls down a missile strike on an enemy. This is an ideal weapon to use if you're fighting multiple enemies at once and need to defeat all of them quickly, or if you're fighting an enemy with a lot of health.
To obtain Euclid's C-Finder, you have to travel to Freeside and find Max, who will sell you this weapon for caps.
Microfusion hyperbreeder alpha: a very underestimated weapon
Obtained after bringing 50 Sunset Sarsaparilla caps to Festus, Pew Pew makes the pain of collecting those caps more than worth it. Every shot from this weapon deals a whopping 75 damage, giving it a DPS value of Sadly, this weapon only has a two-round magazine.
That doesn't matter since most enemies will die from two Pew Pew shots. There are certainly better energy weapons in New Vegas, but how many one-handed weapons dish out this much damage and can be brought into casinos as a holdout weapon? Not many. Of course, this weapon is a one-handed weapon, meaning it only weighs a measly two pounds.

The best part of this variant is its unique effect on a critical hit. When you critically hit a target, this weapon will create a massive explosion on their body, dealing damage in a wide area. This explosion is on-par with a grenade, allowing you to kill a group of clustered enemies with a single critical hit.
Use this weapon in V. The Alien Blaster is one of the wackiest weapons in New Vegas. This energy weapon packs a serious punch, offset by its limited ammo reserves. Every shot deals 75 damage, always crits, and has a tendency to disintegrate targets.
Recharger pistol (fallout supplement)
Unfortunately, only players with the Wild Wasteland trait can obtain this weapon. If this weapon didn't have a limited amount of ammo, it would be higher on this list. For what it is, the Alien Blaster is certainly a devastating gun. Each shot deals 35 damage and fires three projectiles. It lacks the critical stats of its Tri-Beam competitor, but this weapon's higher base damage means it's much more consistent for most builds.
A tight projectile spread and excellent damage make the Multiplas Rifle a force to be reckoned with. Fallout fans know Tesla Cannons for their incredible damage output in comparison to other energy weapons. It's a heavy weapon that really packs an electric punch when it collides with a creature head-on. The Tesla-Beaton Prototype takes this to the extreme.
Every shot deals 90 damage and an additional 25 damage per second for two seconds. The aftershock damage is electric, allowing this weapon to take out organic enemies and machines with little issue. While cumbersome to wield, this weapon is nothing short of a powerhouse in the right hands.
The Gun Runners sure know how to make high-quality weapons. With all of its mods equipped, this gun deals 25 damage per beam and fires three beams per shot. If that wasn't enough, this weapon also has a 1. Since this weapon fires three shots, you have three chances to crit with each shot, allowing this weapon to deal some cataclysmic damage with the right build.
Most unique weapons can't rival the Tri-Beam's damage output. Like the base variant, this weapon packs a serious punch with each shot. With a DPS value of Unfortunately, this weapon is brought down by its pitiful durability stat of A few gunfights are all it takes for this weapon to break. Bring some Weapon Repair Kits if you plan to use this weapon for an extended period of time.
It's given to you after your weapons are confiscated. One would expect it to be terrible, but it's quite the opposite. With all of its mods, this weapon can match the Anti-Material Rifle's damage output. The Holorifle quickly became a fan-favorite energy weapon because of its interesting origin surrounding Father Elijah and its high damage output.
Any enemy that's remotely near you will disintegrate in one or two shots. The Q Matter Modulator is a beast of a weapon; there's no better way to describe it. Compared to the standard Plasma Rifle, this weapon consumes half as much ammo, fires twice as fast, has much faster plasma bolts, and deals increased critical damage than the standard variant.
While its damage is reduced to 40 from the Plasma Rifle's 47, the doubled fire rate more than makes up for this. This weapon has more in common with beam weapons than typical plasma weaponry, striking targets from medium-range with ease. If you use energy weapons at all, the Q Matter Modulator is a must-have. Many New Vegas fans consider this to be one of the strongest weapons in the game, and they aren't wrong. Dealing a whopping damage with each shot, very few enemies will survive a single round from this gun.
If you're hunting Deathclaws or Legendary Bloatflies, fear not. This gun fires three times per second, giving it an incredibly DPS value of Better yet, this weapon has a 2x critical chance multiplier, dealing 70 additional damage when it does crit.
In layman's terms, nothing stands a chance against this gun. Aloy's cheeks have been the subject of a lot of mockery from gamers online in the past few days because they're a bit bigger.
